This website will bring you a little closer into the world of ice skating where I will assist you in reaching your own personal goals and help you to achieve the highest performance level you are capable of.
First and foremost I am a Professional Ice Skating Coach with the passion and drive to succeed in whatever challenges lie ahead. After 6 years away from the competitive arena of Ice Dancing I couldn’t keep away for much longer and since decided to pursue my “ideal role” in a coaching capacity. My aim is to teach / mentor the future of this sport and instill the education which was passed to me by my ice skating coaches Diane Towler MBE (4 times World Champion Ice Dancer) and Garry Hoppe (British ISU Ice Dance Judge) and I will strive to enhance the talent we have in our sport in the UK.
Since coming back to the sport I have worked as Assistant Coach on ITV's hit show Dancing on Ice, where I have worked with ice skating legends Jayne Torvill & Christoher Dean as well as Head Coach on the show Karen Barber.

Robert Burgerman is a professional ice skating coach, with years of experience as a competitive ice dancer.
Due to his expertise, Robert was asked to work as a full-time coach for Dancing on Ice Series 6. He will also be working with the celebrities on forthcoming series.
He continues to take private lessons at Lee Valley Ice Centre.
